Slept most of the day after pulling close to an all nighter for the Milky Way shots. But reconvened at 4:00 to shoot some sunset shots ending up at Zabriskie Point. Dinner at a steakhouse in Furnace Creek. Was surprisingly good. The others opted to go out to the dunes at 1:00 am for more Milky Way shots but I opted for a good night’s sleep. I knew I wouldn’t sleep before and by the time we took the shots and got back it would only be a few hours until meeting for breakfast at 7:30 am. Ira actually got up to go out with them but they must have left a few minutes early — he went to the dunes anyway but said he could not see much of the MW.
